Carmela Mitt, a law student at the University of Tartu, completed a summer internship at Sirel & Partners. Carmela has just finished the first year of law studies this spring but she is already proving herself to be a capable, attentive, and analytical future lawyer. The courage to ask questions from senior colleagues is also an important personal quality.
How did Carmela herself feel about the internship? “It has been an educational and eye-opening period. I gained insight into the work at a law firm, from reviewing procedural documents and drafting statements of claim to analysing criminal case files. In addition to the substantive legal work, I also observed the law firm’s general operations and daily tasks of the support team. The internship experience at Sirel & Partners certainly provided me with valuable knowledge and skills for the future.”
