This week, a 12th grade student of the Old Town Educational College, Matilda was a job shadow at the Sirel & Partners Law Firm.
On the first day, Matilda together with sworn attorney Jüri Sirel and attorney Reelika Rohi, participated in a hearing of the Pärnu County Court where a claim for damages arising from hidden defects related to the sale of real estate and related legal issues were discussed.
On the second day, Matilda together with sworn attorney Jüri Sirel and attorney Taavi Hein, attended a “marathon hearing” held at the Harju County Court where a claim by one of the co-owners against other residents of an apartment building was proceeded, along with the consequences that may arise if the claim is satisfied.
Both topics are currently particularly relevant and serious in the Estonian legal landscape, which further deepened Matilda’s interest in law and the lawyer’s profession.
